Senior Computer Classes
The Schaumburg Township District Library offers classes that are targeted for the "over 50" audience. These classes are meant to introduce students to the basics of computing from the ground up at a gentler pace than the non-senior classes. Each class lasts approximately 2 hours and meets in the Adult Computer Lab. Senior classes have a maximum of 10 students per class, allowing more time for the instructor to interact with students.
Students may register in person or by phone at the rate of $9 per class. This discounted rate applies to all classes offered in the Computer Assistance Department. The non-refundable, non-transferable fee is due at the time of registration. Should a class not be at least half filled, it may be cancelled and all students will be rescheduled at their convience. Classes are taught on IBM compatible machines. For additional information on the clases, please call the Computer Assistance Desk at (847) 923-3352.
